System Requirements

To give some idea of the minimum system requirements, Flight Commander works on the following system with all features turned on at 800x600:

    Windows 98 Athlon 600 MHz
    128 meg RAM
    16 meg Video RAM
    DirectX 5+ for sound/joystick support

Older systems can still work by turning off features in the Settings menu. Windows 95 and machines of that generation are not supported, but can work if sound is turned off. Video cards with older 3dfx drivers are not supported.

Release Notes

Please upgrade to the latest video drivers.
Several video drivers for the older 3dfx cards contain bugs, and are incompatible with Flight Commander.

Known bugs:

Occasional speech bugs in mission briefings.

Turrets do not fire.
